Abstract Polychroniadou A:
"Techno-Economical study of solar energy systems on Xenia’s Buildings",
MSc Thesis, Environmental Science Department University of the Aegean, (2004)

Keywords
Abstract   One of the most important Renewable Energy Source is considered the solar energy. Her transformation in electrical energy is achieved by the photovoltaic systems. In the present work are examined the authority of operation and the technology of those systems, as well as, the viability of such installation in Xenia’s buildings. There are also examined the economic and energy requirements of the buildings, the environmental benefits that follow such an installation, but also the high cost of those systems always in comparison with the conventional fuels.
