Abstract	One of the main problems due to quick development of Information Technology is the increase of waste on electronic equipment, especially on computers. In the beginning of this project the hazardous materials of a computer will be presented and their effects on people and the environment. Thereafter, management of electronic waste in Europe will be presented, as well as the directives that European Community promotes. Also will be mentioned what is happening in Greece and the law that is about to be applied. In the end a description for Lesvos island will be presented and a management of computers waste will be recommended.
