Abstract Tsouchlaraki A, Daras T, Apostolakis I, Mantadaki V:
"Statistical investigation of the environmental quality parameters of the Municipality of Chania urban streets",
In CEMEPE2011: 1241-1246, (Jun 2011)

Keywords   environmental parameter; urban planning; environmental quality; urban streets; statistics
Abstract   Statistical analysis has been implemented in an effort to investigate the parameters affecting the environmental quality of urban streets. Through processes of descriptive and inferential statistics, the parameters were examined, the cross-correlations that may exist between them were investigated and those with the greatest importance were determined. Statistical classification methods were, also, used to identify homogeneous areas in a selected part of the city of Chania, which were, then, evaluated according to the level of their environmental quality.
