| Abstract | Flows stocks, impact on the environment and material balances of hazardous wastes are unknown, and model for establishing sound basis for making priority and solving problems in the company „backyards“ are more that neccesary. It is very important that hazardous materials are controlled and not dissipated. The methodology that can be used very efficient on a company level is Material Flow Analysis which represent a method for designing anthropogenic systems for investigating all flows and stocks of any material based system. This paper try to reveal what are the advances of using MFA for improving hazardous waste management, and what are utilities of using MFA for hazardous waste management on a company level exemplified on power distribution company in transition economy. |
